3 credits For those who are intrigued with character animation, this advanced course develops story ideas around the personalities of characters. There is A focus on character designs, model sheets, layouts, and descriptions of how the character behaves in different scenarios. Storyboards are developed from these primary components. "Star" characters from the historyof animation serve as inspiration, and a broad range of approaches are discussed. Prerequisite: IILLU 2100.
