1.5 credits This course is an introduction to the AIB computer lab, the Macintosh computer interface, and several of the software programs necessary for students to complete class assignments. A general overview of the school's available technology is also covered. Students from all majors are given a general familiarity with the Mac OS X system, as well as how other programs interface with it. The course enables students to be able to work efficiently on A Mac, use various equipment such as printers, scanners, graphic tablets, digital cameras and external hard-drives, and gain A basic idea of how to work with images, computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Macintosh software, as well as the World Wide Web.
