3 credits This course allows students to delve into more ambitious works using direct observation from the human figure as the primary resource. Students aim towards developing their ability to interpret structure, surface, anatomy, and form. Both single figure and multi-figure compositions are addressed through long term homework assignments. Casting techniques covered include silicone rubber molds and waste molds. Prerequisite: IFINE 2430 or IFINE 2500.
