3 credits This intermediate/ advanced level course covers the techniques, history, aesthetics, and individual creative possibilities found in alternative and non-silver photographic image making. Through lab work, skills are refined and options expanded. Incorporation of platinum/palladium, gum bichromate and combination processes offer visual alternatives for expressing personal ideas and images. Flexibility, risk-taking, and A process orientation are encouraged. Prerequisite: IPHOT 2100 or permission of instructor.
