Institution:
Lesley University
Subject:
Description:
3 credits This course explores the potential of digital capture and output to transform the medium of color photography both aesthetically and technically. With the creation of the camera raw file format, the traditional pre-exposure concerns of color balance, and exposure, have now become post-exposure choices for the artist. Color: Digital investigates the artistic implications of this malleability of image capture. The course follows through to improved controls and archival quality attainable in digital color photography.
