3 credits for on-campus programs Focuses on creation of preliminary design for senior thesis or project by exploring topics, questions, and research methodology. Students and faculty member work collaboratively to develop A preliminary design for a senior thesis or project in an area or topic of interest. Students do general reading in their field of interest, keep journals, and participate in small group discussions and activities that enable them to generate and clarify their own questions within their fields. Usually offered fall and spring semesters.
