3 credits Students reflect on their own lives within the context of contemporary society. Through the reading and writing of autobiography and biography, they will explore how life themes and transitions are shaped by and shape societal, historical, and political realities. There will be ongoing assignments in autobiographical and biographical writing culminating in A final project. Through both the content and format of this introductory course, returning students build A supportive community. Usually offered fall and spring semesters.
