3 credits Students will learn how to deal with the professional and ethical issues related to the practice of counseling and related helping professions. Students will explore and apply ethical codes to current controversies within the field of human services. Case studies, films, field visits, simulations, and role-playing will be employed in helping students grasp the integration of theory and practice in the area of applied professional ethics. Usually offered spring semester.
