seven-hour American Red Cross course for coaches and athletes. Students learn to identify and minimize hazardous conditions and to recognize and treat emergencies until medical help arrives. Adult and Child CPR and first aid skills are taught through lectures and video, and practice sessions are especially designed for coaches and athletes. Students who pass course requirements earn one-year certification in Adult and Child CPR and three-year certification in Sport Safety Training. Class fee includes required text. cr, 2nd sem.
