By showing how these advanced algebraic ideas relate to the middle and high school curriculum, teachers will gain a deeper knowledge of algebraic concepts. This course will concentrate on some key ideas of modern algebra such as equivalence relations, isomorphisms, homomorphisms, and the algebraic structures of group, ring, integral domain, and field.
