COM JO 308. Students conceptualize, write, edit, design, and publish two magazines, using desktop technology. Students should know Microsoft Word for Macintosh or a comparable program. Although PageMaker instruction is included in the class, PageMaker tutorials from Personal Computing Support Services are recommended. PageMaker tutorial disks are also available in the Mac labs and students are encouraged to use them. 4 cr, 1st sem.
