Catalog Description: This course is designed to acquaint students with the fundamentals and concepts of the Java programming language. Primary emphasis will be placed on using visual development tools to create platform independent Java applets. Topics covered, in addition to learning the fundamentals of the language, include Java enhanced web pages and use of Java to connect to server databases.
