In this course, students will examine counseling and intervention methods used for adult and juvenile, and male and female offenders. They will explore theories proven by research and applied to treatment. In addition, they will critically evaluate evidence-based policy, best practices, program evaluations, and "what works" in both social-service andcriminal-justice systems.
