An introduction to techniques and approaches in acting, voice/ speech, and movement. Acting work includes sensory and emotional awareness, observation, concentration and basic scene study techniques. Voice/speech work includes anatomy and kinesthetics of breath and voice, basic vocal warm-ups, and diction drills.Movement work includes neutral body, physical conditioning, and moving through time and space with energy. Required for Theatre Artsmajors pursuing the Bachelor of Arts degree. Offered annually.
