Develops assessment techniques to examine the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health of individuals from diverse populations across the lifespan. Introduces skills in interdisciplinary, multigenerational, and culturally sensitive professional communication. Principles of teaching-learning, stress and psychosocial theories are presented to promote the individual's health and prevent disease. Prerequisites: BIO 107, BIO 108, BIO 114, CHM110. Co-requisite: H230. Offered each fall.
