Instruction in the principal field of applied music is designed to prepare students to meet the performance requirements in the various degree programs in addition to providing a laboratory for the study of the literature of the art of music. Instruction is available in the following fields: Voice; Keyboard Instruments (Piano, Organ, Harpsichord); Stringed Instruments (Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass);Woodwind Instruments (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone); Brass Instruments (French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba); Percussion Instruments. 181 offered each fall; 183 offered each spring.
