An introduction to the logic, process andmethodology of conducting empirical research in political science. It includes discussions of theory/ hypothesis and analysis. The latter often involves the use of statistics.However, the approach to statistical analysis in the course is upon how and why statistics are used to study political behavior and not uponmemorizing particular formulas ormathematical proofs.
