This course continues the proficiencyoriented approach of the Beginning French sequence. It is designed to strengthen basic language skills with an emphasis on oral skills in an immersion setting, while experiencing firsthand the Francophone culture of Québec. Prerequisite: 102 or equivalent. Students may take French 202 instead of French 201 in order to fulfill the General Education requirements for foreign language. Students may not receive credit for both French 202 and French 204. Offered in alternate years,May Term.
