A survey of the tropical reef marine environment; the biology of marine plants and animals, ecological relationships and community dynamics. Studies will be conducted at amarine station on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Prerequisites: 101 and 102 and consent of instructor. Recommended: 217 or 219. Nomore than two travel courses may count toward 300-level courses in the department. Offered occasionally in May term.
