A detailed examination and discussion of selected topics in cell biology. Readings fromthe primary scientific literature are an integral part of the course. Students will conduct research on a topic or their choice and summarize the research in both a written and oral presentation. Prerequisites: 101, 102; 240 or 2 years of chemistry (recommend: 312). Sophomores interested in course should seek consent of instructor. Offered each spring.
