A concentrated introduction to molecular, cellular, genetic, developmental and organismic biology. Emphasis on fundamental principles, concepts and current developments of modern biology. Intended for biology majors, pre-medical, pre-dental and pre-veterinary students, and interested nonmajors. Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week. Prerequisite: 101 for 102. 101 offered each fall; 102 offered each spring.
