Topic areas include production technology, capacity planning, facility location/layout, production scheduling, inventory systems, and quality control. Quantitativemethods and analytical techniques are emphasized through problemsolving. Site visits will be scheduled during some class hours; students are responsible for their own local transportation. Open to juniors and seniors only. Offered occasionally.
