Topics include populations and samples, variables, probability distributions, descriptive statistics, statistical inference and hypothesis testing using selected parametric and non-parametric tests. Choosing appropriate analyses and interpreting results are emphasized. Three hours of lecture and 2 hours laboratory per week.
