This course covers a variety of topics precursory to a study of calculus. Although students may take this course in preparation for taking calculus, the topics covered are self contained and have value in and of themselves. We will investigate topics of algebra, trigonometry, exponential functions, logarithms, functions, graphs of functions, and many real world applications. Prerequisites: 12 credit hours; Basic Algebra. Three hours.
