A course designed to give biology majors the opportunity to apply their knowledge and study skills to the investigation of a relevant, complex problem in biology with global implications. Such an investigation is expected to be multidisciplinary, penetrating beyond the boundary of traditional biology. Students will be required to utilize the competencies of reading, writing, speaking, critical thinking and world view in their study and presentation of their results. Three hours.
