Includes digestion, absorption and metabolism of nutrients, as well as dietary evaluation and modification for physiological needs. Other areas of study include: role of social, psychological and cultural factors in food selection. Prerequisite BSC100, BSC101, BSC102, BSC321, be a nursing student or consent of instructor. Three hours of lecture per week. Three hours.
