A course designed to give the student a basic knowledge of the design and operational characteristics of some electronic instruments commonly utilized in analytical procedures. The lecture will concentrate on the theoretical aspects of instrument design and operation while the laboratory will emphasize actual analytical procedures and calculations. The course involves three class periods and two three-hour laboratory periods each week. Prerequisite: CHM324. Four hours.
