Topics covered include algebra applications, functions and their graphs, financial formulas, logic, and algorithms. Prerequisites: 12 credit hours; Basic Algebra. Three hours. MAT116 Basic Calculus ( This course is also listed as BUS116) This course covers the traditional topics of calculus without the rigorous development of the theory. This course is particularly intended to give students in business and the life sciences an intuitive understanding of the theorems and applications of calculus. Three hours.
