The purpose of this course is to introduce Latin/Hispanic culture including its customs, family structure, religion/ ideology, values, challenges of immigration, and diversity amongst Latin cultures. Students are also introduced to some very basic Spanish language. This class is limited to students who have not had any prior study in Spanish. Students with prior language study opting to continue language study at Grace College must take the language placement examination and be placed accordingly. Three hours.
