In this two semester course students will seek to learn the basics of biblical Greek. The goal will be to gain a foundational knowledge of the elements of grammar and vocabulary in order to begin preliminary reading and understanding of the Greek text. Students will read selections from the NT in order to reinforce the features of the language being learned and to gain insight into the value of the original language for interpretation. Prerequisites: none. Three hours each semester.
