This course deals specifically with those problems encountered most frequently in a counseling setting. These problems include depression, anxiety, sexual disorders, and eating disorders. Etiology and treatment strategies are the focal points. Several field trips will be taken to visit a variety of mental health facilities in the area. Prerequisite: PSY210. Three hours.
