Students will discover how to uncover the original meaning of books in the NT and how to apply that meaning to contemporary situations. Students will understand the basic historical, canonical, literary, and cultural milieu in which divine revelation was given and must be interpreted. Students will wrestle with questions raised by the NT about Jesus and his followers, salvation and discipleship, grace and obedience, the Holy Spirit and the church, piety and community, and the kingdom. Prerequisite: BIB105 Three hours.
