A laboratory course in which students can choose between wheel throwing or hand building methods for projects, with advanced techniques introduced. Glaze preparation, firing techniques, and kiln construction and design are included in the curriculum. Firing methods will include bisque, reduction, raku, and pit firings. Prerequisite: ART 220. Three hours.
