This course is an introduction to computer concepts and applications, including hardware and software management, troubleshooting related to the Windows operating system, and word processing, presentation, and publication software. The course utilizes a step-by-step approach, encouraging students to expand their understanding of the software through experimentation, exploration and planning ahead. Exercises prepare participants to become more capable software users by requiring them to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to create real-life documents.
