The course will consider the historical development and contexts of the texts and their major themes. Students will practice interpreting Christian scripture in meaning ways for today according to methods used by the Catholic and non-fundamentalist Protestant traditions. Prerequisite: RELS 100. This course is designated as a foundational religious studies general education course.
