In this course, we will analyze protein structure-function relationships. We will investigate how proteins function and how the structure relates to that function. The principles that explain enzyme rate enhancements, mechanistic enzymology will be examined. We will also explore protein superfamilies for phylogenetic relationships to enhance our understanding of protein structure function relationships.
