This course describes the fi eld of biochemistry in relation to the traditional fi elds of biology and chemistry. Biochemical approaches to problems in medicine, industry and forensics are presented. Students identify a topic of current interest that is related to biochemistry and present it to the class as a skit or dialogue. Issues of ethical concern also are discussed.
