Like "Science, Technology and Values" this course will explore value issuesrelating to science and technology. It will also consider the societal and environmental aspects of science and technology. The main difference is that this course will focus on a specific theme or topic that may emphasize science and values, technology and values, or the environmental aspects of science or technology. The theme or topic will be chosen by the instructor, announced in the subtitle, and developed in the course syllabus. This course fulfills a humanities core requirement.
