This course is designed to introduce the design and practices of the DVD development with emphasis on rethinking a completed fi lm project. The student develops a specifi c DVD based on a fi lm they have completed. Class discussion and presentation is oriented towards new directions for the fi lm story with interactivity and sequencing considerations. The student will acquire development tools to include: menu development, subtitles, audio streams, encoding principals, hybrid DVD creation, web linking (DVD@ccess), and basic scripting.
