A study of current issues relevant to digital graphics design and related media, how they can relate to broader historical and cultural issues and how they might suggest future directions. The central topic of the course will vary as defi ned by the instructor and will focus on a different issue, designer or development in the discipline. Topics will include a focus on the work of an individual designer or research in the fi eld, which might predict future directions or opportunities.
