A basic course for non-majors. Emphasis is on videotape its use of an interpretive and expressive medium. A combined theoretical/ practical approach to the dynamics of the medium. Two short video projects are required. VHS production and editing facilities are provided by RIT. Students must purchase a minimum of two 60-minute, 1/2" videocassettes. This course does not count as elective credit for fi lm/video or animation majors. Credit 4
