Illustration core for illustration majors and medical illustration majors in their sophomore year. The students approach major elements of technique, application, and theory in relation to becoming illustrators. Studio sessions involve basic anatomy, design and typography for illustrator, fi gurative expression, photographic tools, and illustrative technique. Class structure allows demonstrations of process and experimentation and critique with illustrative media. Credit 3
