Students will implement a three-tier DBMS application. Using a standard DBMS product, students will design and implement a database backend. Students will construct a web server and implement client/web server connectivity. Tools to monitor and measure such an implementation will be developed. Client-side, database server-side, and web server issues associated with such a three-tier implementation will be investigated. Programming assignments are required.
