This course delves into the use of artifi cial intelligence in interactive environments. These environments range from the entertaining nature of role-playing games to more serious military simulations. In all these environments, agents and groups of agents must interact in an intelligent manner. Topics will include advanced pathfi nding algorithms, sensory systems, group tactical strategies, and learning algorithms. Projects are an inherent part of the course.
