This course explores the role of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems in modern organizations. Students will analyze cross functional business processes and the ERP systems which are commonly used to support these processes. Students will engage in a hands-on project using a current ERP system, such as SAP R/3, to demonstrate, analyze and design system structures, key data elements and process confi gurations that support cross-functional business processes including accounting, sales, material management, production and distribution.
