This course is taken concurrently with Student Teaching and focuses on the foundations of American education and their impact on teachers in school reform and the organization and administration of schools. Strategies for managing such concerns as parent involvement, legal issues, collaboration with colleagues, and multicultural student populations are emphasized. This required course is the final course in the professional education sequence. Students present their professional portfolios as part of the assessment.
