Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to appreciate the problems that societies face regarding sustainable growth and its effects on the environment and natural resources, both exhaustible and renewable. Participants gain an understanding of the basic principles of cost-benefit analysis and are able to analyze regulatory policies regarding pollution and other environmental issues.
