3 hours; 3 credits Required advanced seminar to study interdisciplinary theory and methodology applied to a selected theme. Colloquia and research and/or fieldwork. Senior thesis written individually or collectively. A student completing the course with distinction is recommended for honors. (Not open to students who have completed Humanities 83.1 or Social Science Interdisciplinary Studies 83.1.) Prerequisite: English 2;Women's Studies 10.7 or 12 or Social Science Interdisciplinary Studies 10.7; or Women's Studies 10.8 or Humanities 10.7; and at least two courses in women's studies approved by the coordinator.
