2 hours lecture, 2 hours television laboratory; 3 credits A workshop combining literary and technical skills. Analysis of four plays of different types (realistic, nonrealistic, absurdist, Shakespearean). Scenes prepared for television. Students interpret, "crew for," shoot, edit, and evaluate the scenes tapedusing skilled actors. This course is the same as English 50. Prerequisite: a course in dramatic literature or Television and Radio 25.1 or 26.1 or 27.1.
