3 hours lecture; 3 hours laboratory; 4 credits Etiology and characteristics, of speech and language disorders. Implications for literacy development and linguistic and cultural diversity. Observations of speech-language evaluations. (Not open to students who have registered for this course in any two prior semesters.) Prerequisite: all of the following: Speech 13; 17.6 or 17.8; 17.5 or 17.9; 31. These courses must be completed with an average of B or higher and with no grade lower than C.
